Sobe Summer Fridays...

So this summer, Team Epiphany (Epiphany Medallic PR) have put together the Sobe Lifewater event which has been held every Friday for the past 2 months. All the whose, who have been in attendance at least one friday since the start of the summer. Last week was my first time in attendance and it was fun. Lots of young successors coming together, networking, drinking, dancing and just enjoying the summer and each other. Friday August 7, 2009, is the finale to this summer installment. Heard it's supposed to be an action packed event too. The event is usually 1-8pm but tomorrow the hours are 1-10pm. Stoked. Looking forward to see whose going to pop up!

PS- I inquired about an internship with this firm awhile ago. hmmm Still love you guys though!

The star of the popular television show Criminal Minds Shemar more,39 was recently hit by a car in LA, on saturday while bike riding. He is recovering fine and only suffered a broken leg. First Drake tears his ACL, and now Shemar has a broken leg? I CANT...

Spotted: Tyra Banks

I'm going to take credit and state that I got "Most" of my friends hooked on CW's hit television show Gossip Girl. This season on GG Tyra Banks will be showing us her acting skills once again. Tyra Banks will be playing the role of an actress (Ursula Nyquist) who Serena (Blake Lively) must control. Extremely stoked for the new season, and to see Tyra's acting skills again. Last time I remember her acting was on the Fresh Prince of Bel Air when she played the hood chick from Philly "Jackie". I'm sure she won't be bringing anything hood to Gossip Girl ( at least I hope not) New season is set to air on October 5. Stoked!

YIKES! Mary Poppins.

Slim Shady in my opinion not only disrespected but embarrassed the S%#T out of Mariah Carey (cannon if your nasty) on his most recent diss record "Warning". It's crazy how he is coming at her BUT, she should have never "went balls out" and played him in her obsessed video. No matter how many times she says she "wasn't" trying to portray Emienm we all know the truth. Also knowing EM is known for his diss records and disrespectful lyrics. C'mon if he talked about the mother of his child and his mother any type of way, what makes Mariah think she isn't bait for his ignorance? In all fairness Mariah lost this one and should "NOT" try and rebuttal this record. I hope and pray she doesn't let her bodyguard/helper/husband Nick Cannon say or put out anything regarding the record either. Just let it fade to black....

PS-Is that really MC's voice at the end of the record? I can't...

All Black Everything!

Last Tuesday I had the opportunity to attend a Rad Hourani event @ the SoHo Grand Hotel. With a very chic yet edgy atmosphere we previewed new pieces for the fall. A lot of the pieces were black and shades a grey and a little white here and there, everything I observed was different, something I've never seen before, VERY creative. I fell in love with the color "BLACK" all over again, such a powerful, but chic color don't you think?
